Privacy Policy
Linn Publisher · last updated 5 September 2026
Linn Publisher is a private, single-operator tool. It is not offered to the public, it has no user accounts, and it is not installed by anyone other than its operator. Its only function is to upload the operator's own original videos to the operator's own social media accounts.
What it accesses
With the operator's explicit authorization, the tool connects to social platform APIs — TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook — using accounts owned by the operator. On TikTok it requests only two permissions:
user.info.basic— to confirm which account it is connected to.video.upload— to place a video in that account's drafts. The operator reviews and posts it manually inside the TikTok app.
What it stores, and where
Access tokens and publishing records are stored only on the operator's own computer. There is no server, no database and no hosted backend. Nothing is transmitted anywhere except directly to the social platform being published to.
What it does not do
- It does not collect, receive or process data belonging to any other person.
- It does not read other users' content, followers, messages or profiles.
- It does not sell, share or transfer any data to third parties.
- It does not use advertising, tracking or analytics services.
Retention and deletion
Because all data lives on the operator's own machine, deletion is immediate and under the operator's sole control. Platform access can be revoked at any time from the account settings of the platform itself, which stops the tool from doing anything at all.
